San Marco Makarska

Location was fabulous, spacious apartment and hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Had everything we needed and more!

It is a very comfortable apartment in the heart of the Old Town. It was very clean and well equipped for a family holiday. Our host Mathilda was very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it.

The bath/shower is quite high up. It may not be suited for individuals with any mobility issues.

The property was prefect, right in the heart of the town. Both beaches were only a 10 minute walk away, very clean, very comfortable beds! Host was amazing.

Absolutely unique -loved feeling like living in Makarska. Everything was provided and made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived.

Amazing host, great view, clean and big apartment. Everything you need in kitchen. Huge terrace with a place to eat, sunbathe and to dry your laundry. Highly recommend. Amazing location as well ❤️

Only think I didn't like was that our stay there was so short, would definitely come back for longer !

Located a short walk to the water front with lots of eateries and supermarket close by. Our host, Matilda was a gem. She met us with a lovely cool drink, showed us through the apartment and left us lovely starter of food including eggs, prosciutto, cheese and water in the fridge. We really appreciated this gesture. Matilda responded quickly to any contact we made with her. The apartment is spacious with a full kitchen. The beds were comfortable. Washing machine very handy as we were there for 5 days. Air conditioning worked well. Very small balcony however we enjoyed sitting out there with our morning cuppa.

We were not aware that you need to walk through the main bedroom to get to the second bedroom. So if someone in second bedroom needs to get up in the middle of the night, they walk through main bedroom where others sleep. We did manage ok with that. The air conditioner is in the living room and doesn’t blow into the bedrooms at all so it does get quite hot. I believe Matilda has fans she will move into the bedrooms for the warmer months.

Absolutely everything! Matilda was so generous with her time and energy. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. Watching the sunset from the balcony was a highlight. Would definitely recommend to any couple visiting Makarska.

Nothing at all not to like!

Very nice place to stay! * the location is very good, a 10-minute walk will lead you to the grocery store and a 10-minute walk the other way will lead you to the bigger beaches and the main promenade (although you still have small beaches and restaurants even closer than that - like 1 minute away) * the neighborhood is very pretty, we liked walking around * the hosts were quick to answer our messages * the balcony is great and big, the view is wonderful * I didn't find out for a while, but there were additional towels under the bed (in a drawer) * clean * comfortable bed !! * the hosts brought us food haha

* The kitchen is okay, definitely not bad, but some basic tools were missing for me * Some water got under the entrance door when it rained a lot and there was sometimes water leaking on the bathroom floor. I would say this was the biggest annoyance. But that was still just a small annoyance. * One night there was a show in the public place close to the apartment and we could hear the music. I was still able to sleep soundly, but if you are a light sleeper, just know this could happen.
