"On the roof of Makarska Old Town"

Arriving up the beautiful outside staircase to the large private terrace, which was better than we expected, was a great start. The terrace is as big as the apartment and was sunny from 10.30 until sunset ( late September) We loved the rooftop and sea views Infront, the wall of the Biokovo mountains behind and the Cathedral with its beautiful bell tower to our side. Ivan and Marco were kind and thoughtful hosts, regularly checking if we were ok. On stormy mornings we sat in with the living room window open looking out at the sea and harbour. The apartment and roof terrace (on the same level) are higher than most buildings around and you don't feel overlooked. We have been to several apartments in Makarska and this is our favourite and we will be here again next year Thank you Ivan and Marco!
