The Lodge

This is an excellent property on the edge of a small village. The facilities within the property are good and everything was clean.

The only thing to be aware of, and there is nothing the owners of the property can do about it, there is a small road outside the property that does cause some road noise in the mornings.

An amazing self-contained one storey house very close to Margate. It’s very tastefully done up and located just a 10 minutes drive from Margate centre. They gave us all the bits for breakfast and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The main owners house is just a few feet away and they are always around for any support.

Loved everything about the lodge, I love the home from home feeling. Arrived to a beautifully clean property. Lovely open plan kitchen with French doors out to the patio area. The hosts have thought of everything, lovely little touches such as toiletries, small pot of butter and jam along with some milk, bread and orange juice. A fan was provided which was perfect for the 31• weather. Hosts were attentive for anything you needed. A book of recommendations in the property which was fantastic.

The house was immaculate and had lots of thoughtful touches.

Nothing not to like!

We liked how everything was thought of. It was exceptionally clean and tidy. There were lots of lovely added touches such as freshly cut flowers. Location is great for getting to nearby beaches and to Canterbury. Lovely overall.

Lovely and comfortable, really clean, good shower, comfortable bed and a nice private outside seating area. Very nice, friendly, helpful , welcoming hosts. Would definitely go back.
