"A hidden gem"

Perfect accommodation for our 3 night stay. The house was immaculate and surprisingly spacious! The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom was very cosy. The hosts have clearly put alot of thought into The Lodge and we highly recommend booking a stay.

We did find the upstairs bedroom a little hot, though the hosts did provide a small fan.

"A really lovely self catering property for two."

Faultless, spotless accommodation with an outdoor seating area too.

You do need a car. It's a little village with no shops or pub and a very infrequent bus service.

Everything - it was immaculate and well furnished to a high standard. Little touches - delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake, the lovely little patio with plants and privacy, the lovely fluffy Christy towels and lots more.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lodge. It’s amazing value for money. This property has everything that you may need for a short stay, including some little extras. It’s in an excellent location, close to beaches and food shops. Would definitely recommend!

We went during summer and it was rather hot inside the house, especially upstairs. However, the hosts did include a small fan for the bedroom.

"Great cosy lodge at the heart of the Kent countryside!"

The property is a newly (stay was in Aug '23) refurbished lodge but don't be fooled by its size. It has everything you need and possibly more. Beautifully decorated and stocked with the latest appliances. Upstairs bedroom was super comfy and cosy (just be mindful of the low sloping ceiling). We slept like rocks! Informative leaflet on local restaurants and attractions nearby and as a techy I loved the USB-A ports built in to the power sockets by the bedside. Hosts were amazing and pointed us in the direction of a local farm as we were after some local produce to bring back to London!

"Exceptional"

The Lodge was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It had been decorated and equipped to a very high standard. The owners were friendly but didn't interfere. Would definitely stay again if available in the future. Have already recommended to family.

I liked everything apart from the pillows on the bed which were new but too firm for me but this is of course just a matter of taste. Most guests wouldn't have a problem with them.
