Casa Vainilla Holbox Island

loved the quiet location for good night sleep(10min walk into center), we had a big spacious room on ground floor with our own little porch, cute colorful design, rooftop view is amazing, perfect for people who want some quiet time but still walkable distance to center

important: NO breakfast available!! we booked this because of the great reviews about the breakfast but this option doesn’t exist anymore!!! you have to go into center in the heat to have your coffee in the morning making it less comfortable if you’re not a morning person…

be aware that there is no breakfast at the casa anymore, but you’re close to many good breakfast restaurants

I loved the room ( so colourful,clean and quiet location ) and the terrace with swings..wonderful sunset and sunrise. The manager was amazing, kind and provided us with great tips.

The owner was very accessible and helpful and helped to make our stay lovely. The room was cute and clean and the hotel is a 2 minute walk to the beach.

nothing, electricity went out one night for few hours but this is the lroblem of the island

The owner was very friendly and helpful ,nice pool rooms were clean spacious bonus was a fridge and a good location about half a mile to the main restaurant shops etc and other half a mile to the hotel so just far enough away for it to be quiet close to the beach 5 minute walk some restaurants one towards town two minutes away or two or three the other way plus a couple on the beach. We enjoy it so much we stayed a extra day 👍

such a cute hotel, beautifully decorated, lovely little courtyard area, nice rooftop, large rooms with huge beds. good location as a little out from the main restaurant area so very quiet

Lovely spacious room, with lots of delicate and fun design touches. Looked exactly like the photos. Terrace space was also beautiful - a great spot for relaxing and catching the sunrise too. Nice spacious and very hot shower and v good wifi. Was a 10 min walk from the centre of Holbox, felt incredibly safe as a solo female traveller walking home along the beach at night, and it was nice to stay somewhere quieter/less touristy. Owners were very nice. I had one night at dinner and loved the meal Roberta made.

The owners left for most of my stay, which meant there was no breakfast which was a big inconvenience as I had to find places nearby. A lot of construction in the day during my stay too, and never saw the pool was never running whilst I was there although I did not require it as the beach is literally 2 minutes walk away.
