The Cabin

Comfortable well-equipped cabin. Quiet and secluded location. Host very welcoming and helpful.

Location was brilliant, everywhere we wished to visit was very close and easy to get to from the property. Very quiet and no light pollution, so stars were really visible.

A Few more items of kitchen equipment, eg simple things , wooden spoons, assorted sizes of mixing bowls, dish cloth, pan scrub, dish washer, washing machine detergent, although I didn't use either appliance.

Hosts were excellent. Property was exactly what we wanted so much this is a second booking after staying in 2025 as well. Everything you need for a great time. Parking for at least 3 cars.

The cabin was exceptionally good,.we enjoyed our days in the Forest of Dean as we planned. It was wonderful. Beautiful and clean cabin with everything we needed during our stay. Just the bathroom needs to be checked.

The location was very good, although we expected to have some more places available to visit, I imagine it also was due to the season.. national trust places weren't open. People were great with us, we visited some towns and villages and I always felt like home. Many thanks 🙏

The Cabin was warm, clean, quiet and very comfortable. It was ideally located for a range of places to visit.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

Absolutely pristine property. Cabin was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. Sitting on the decking watching the horses and their foals in the opposite field was just wonderful. Tranquil, peaceful and perfect for us. Steve was a wonderful host, extremely helpful and friendly. Milk, cans of juice and chocolate in the fridge was a really lovely touch. It was 29 degrees when we arrived so you can imagine how elated we were to discover the main living area had air conditioning! All in all a perfect stay - will definitely be visiting again.
