Coconut Tree House

Very cute little hut in the forest, we loved the outside bathroom! :) the Host dim is so nice! He really made us feel welcome and organized an amazing safari. His driver Sumudu is also the best guide, he made sure to avoid crowds and to really make your day perfect. We loved everything!!

Just be prepared that there is not a lot of internet connection :)

I coudn’t recommand Coconut Tree House more ! Hosts are adorable, Dim made everything for us to have the best experience. The house is great in the middle of the jungle, peaceful, clean, with A/C- and a very nice outside bathroom. Dim organized an amazing safari for us (thanks to the guide who was incredible), and the rice & curry after is so tasty. You can go to Coconut Tree House with eyes closed, one of the best place we had in Sri Lanka ! Justine & Edouard

Very great value, because the owner earns the money with the safari and not the room. It is a very nice hut under the coconut trees with an attached outdoor bathroom.

There was a missunderstanding about the safari prices. The owner did not include the park ticket in the price he offered us. After we arrived, he explained to us that we had to pay for the park ticket in addition to the safari price. Since we were already there, we still went for the safari but bargained a small price reduction. He did not seem to like that and was very reserved from then on.

It's an amazing place. Dim and his family are really hospitable, helpful, and caring. He was constantly checking where we have reached, sending location, and asking meal options. The meal was superb tasty and huge quantity. He arranged safari for us, which was the cheapest but really best quality time. His safari driver has a special eye for finding animals in a short time. His wife offered us so many fruits and even gave some for travel ahead. The cottage was perfectly clean, and it had good ac, and all toiletries were provided. Beds were super comfortable we slept really well. We requested srilankan breakfast and got really delicious huge quantities. It's a gem place very near to udawalawe national park. Its exactly like as shown in pictures.

The host,was amazing , he gave us great recommendations, organized a great safari, for a reasonable price for the two of us, where we ended up enjoyind the amazing udawalawe national park on a private tour. The breakfast, as well as the curry's that we ordered from there were amazing as well. The cherry on top for us was the outside shower and the lovely Chillout area in front of the bungalow, we strongly recommend this place, and hope to come back one day

Very nice people! Room was comfortable with a good working AC and mosquito nets. The outdoor bathroom is a nice touch as well.
