Sonesta Essential Van Buren-Fort Smith

Oh i loved the whole experience. The front desk gentleman was excellent. He helped out so much. Cant complain about nothing. Awesome experience. Might stay at another sonesta in Augusta Georgia

The rooms were very clean, beds excellent and breakfast was very good. Great value. Front desk clerk made sure we had everything we needed.

You could tell they were going through a renovation so the outside does not look as good as the inside.

It was simple but so clean and so friendly.

The bed was comfortable and they have the good pillows. Everything was clean.

It was right next to the interstate. The road getting into the hotel parking lot was kind of weird. It went through a strip mall parking lot.

I don't know because I wasn't allowed to check in

When I showed the manager my booking he said I couldn't check in because the reservation would take 2 hours to come through. He didn't care that I had both in app and an email confirmation from booking.com. I've seen it take 5-10 minutes for a 3rd party reservation to reach the motel, but never 2 hours. It was almost 9pm and I'd been driving all day. When I argued with him he called the police on me and there was a whole scene. The local police told me that this guy is always calling the cops on guests for no reason. I had an officer witness the manager's promise to not charge my account for the room I didn't use. I went to the other side of town and paid directly for a room for the night. Ultimately I wasn't charged, but the whole experience was ridiculous. I highly recommend you avoid this motel.

Staff very friendly, breakfast was ok.

Hotel was being renovated our room was clean but fridge was turned off I had to reset breaker for air-conditioner, no hir drier for bathroom, pool not functioning.
