the food was ok, better if less fried foods.

we have stay in many other home stays in raja Ampat. the generator for electricity is usually run for 12 hours. this place will run 6 hours from 6pm to midnight. if you plead with them it might run to 3 am that is if you are lucky. We stay 11 days, when there was less guests there is always plenty of food and pretty good food. Chicken was good, but we get fish it is mostly tuna or barracuda. one time we got some other white flesh fish, all 12 of us got was the collar and tail which was not enough for 12 guests. however, toward the end of the stay with 12 guests, there is a great reduction of food. they claimed because of Sunday no fishermen fishing and no one going to the market. The water is little salty. There are definitely rat infestation around. my day pack was chew up with a silver dollar hole. Soap bar w ould only last 1 day, always gone. before it was gone it had teeth marks. The foam mattress has a difficult time to maintain its shape in flatness. The bathroom floor is always flooded until we put some wood plank so we are not stepping in standing water every time we use the bathroom.

Nothing! The host just sent me to a different homestay in the same island without ever asking me if I agreed with this change!!! While there he never even bothered to talk to me directly!? By the way, the new place did not provide rooms with bathrooms as the one I had originally booked.

The location is great, beautiful beach and really close to Cape Kri and the sandbar. And the family are lovely and very accommodating. It was our only homestay with an ensuite bathroom too (though that makes it sound fancier than it is!), so that was nice.

I understand rats are all over Kri, but yeah, they're here too and it's kinda creepy. Sometimes dinner just wasn't enough and a few times it was just eggs rather than something more substantial.

I loved it here. My favourite place in Raja. Amazing beach and great snorkelling right in front of the bungalow. When the tide is high you can just jump in. Even though Kri is the most touristy island, it's quiet here because it's the furthest away homestay in the area. So at night you can only hear the waves breaking in front of or underneath your bungalow, and sure, the occasional gecko laughing or dog barking, but otherwise it is peaceful here. As for the accommodation, it was basic but I had everything I needed. The food was delicious. Best I had in Raja. Fish, chicken, eggs, sauces, lots of vegetables, green pancakes with peanut butter, banana cake and bread, fried banana, papaya, watermelon... and coffee, tea and instant chocolate. All in all, I really enjoyed being there. After just a few days it felt like home. So after 5 days, it was hard to leave this amazing homestay.

The family didn't speak much English, but they were helpful whenever I needed anything (walking to the viewpoint, driving to my snorkelling spot). In fact, of all my homestays, this family was the most helpful, willing and always smiling. But definitely bring your English to Indonesian app (with offline dictionary) and you will be fine.

Services totally unavailable. No Internet connection (not even Airalo). Lisias, the owner, is totally unreliable. He tells everything can be done, he does… nothing.
