We got the cheap room and it was really bad

The staff was nice and the spot for breakfast cozy.

Our room seemed to never be restaurated since it was built. Moreover, it was never cleaned during our stay. The towels were "clean" in the beginning but really old, and the color itself was more brown than white. The AC dropped water down on our desk, but we noticed it too slowly, so my passport got totally wet. You don't get a blanket. It's just a second bed sheet (those with the rubber band). The bathroom in our room was a bit disgusting because it was really old, the toilets have seen better times in their life and because there is just coming SALTY water out of the tap, there was a great erosion on them. Besides, it always smelled like in a cloaka. The breakfast was not tasty. Our coffee was with whether salty water or something else, but it tasted really not drinkable. Tee eggs were a lot too salty (maybe the cook is in love :D)

Very nice staff, good breakfast, great value for money. We also liked the pool.

First impressions when I arrived: The room was completely different from what was advertised on Booking.com. I was shocked—it was dark, had yellow-white floors, low water pressure, and overall; it wasn't clean. Even during the day, the lobby had too many mosquitoes.

Overall the property was good but the pool and villa beside the pools are not of gili desa, these are owened by some other but you can use this pool. It is approx 750m far from harbour that is ok but when you come in night after party it will be too dark and silent on roads.
