The staff was very friendly, and the location was very good.

The room was ok, it seems a bit old , there was not a wardrobe or drawers to put clothes. The toilet did not have a shelf to put toiletries

The hosts are incredibly kind and super helpful! The location is just a 10-minute walk from the port, and they offer bike rentals on site. They also assist with booking the fast boat and snorkeling trips. Highly recommend staying here!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Organised bikes and snorkeling tour for us. We found the location good as it is more towards the middle of the island and close enough to all sides by bicycle. Breakfast was simple but nice. Would recommend the laundry services next door door also.

It didn't really bother us, but the toilet and shower in the hut rooms are outdoors, so not ideal at night.

Such a great place to stay. Clean comfortable bed, really lovely private bungalows with a terrace and a hot water shower. The hosts are so lovely and make you a really nice breakfast in the morning. Great location too, easy walk between the nice beaches and the restaurants/bars whilst still being quiet. Great value for money definitely recommend!!

For the price, stay was overall good. Rooms clean with comfy beds, bit of a walk to main street, but definitely doable (everybody rides bikes here anyway) so easy to get around. Staff were all super kind and great!

The 2 guys who run Gili Desa couldn't be more accommodating - will arrange bikes for you, horse, and cart to take you to port on leaving. If you're staying upstairs they will carry your bags up and can bring breakfast up. Nice omelete or pancake with coffee for breakfast. If you're looking for luxury not for you but at price cheap clean accomodation with comfortable bed and clean toilet and shower outside but enclosed at back of room. Pool small but cool and refreshing after return from beach. All in all - If your budgeting this is a cheap and cherry place

Can be a little difficult to find at first - but no problem with Google maps. Water in shower in our unit picked and didn't run to drain - maybe a little straw broom would help to alleviate this
