The room was immaculately clean and very cosy. and a very reasonable price. We also had the pleasure of meeting our host in the morning as we were checking out he was very friendly and asked how we enjoyed our stay .

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

It was where we wanted to be.

A little table and 2 chairs at the window would have been good, we are too old to perch on a bed. The alcove with shelves would have been better as a hanging space for clothes - 2 hangers for 2 people for 2 nights not enough. Big shower room with nowhere to lay anything, a couple of hooks even? Outside of the property is needing attention.

The location was nice. The room was big and very clean. The rail track next to the building was not a bother. The room had all the things we needed for the night.

I didn't like how there was no parking. And after making enquiries as to where to park, I received no response. This would not put me off staying again, but I would have liked to have been informed of alternative parking, which was on the street not far from the building. I would also have like a couple of chairs and maybe a small table in the room, there is plenty of space for this.

A great find! Even has a microwave on the landing as well as a fridge! No dishes, just the mugs and saucers in the room and teaspoons but enough to make a mug of porridge for us which we brought with us 😁 before we went downstairs to be wowed by the 1830 breakfast selection 🥞🥚☕

there was nothing apart from arriving was a little cold

The room was spacious and clean and done up to a very high standard. The bistro under the rooms was exceptional. Can’t recommend enough Grear having a fridge in the common landing

We found the property really noisy. The next rooms tv was on really loud and late. There was a shared toilet in the hallway and doors were getting banged near 1am. There was a problem with the downstairs entry door but we found the key safe very efffective. The road and train line was noisy. Just not enough sound proofing in an old property. No lined bins in the rooms.

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was big and everything was very clean. Perfect for a short stay before catching the ferry to Dunoon. Good value for money.

I have family in greenock gourock so I came now to see them for mothers day really enjoyed my stay would do so again will be recommending you to my friends. Thanks again Mrs Sandra Johnstone
