Since this is a mansion transformed into a hotel. THERE IS NO LIFT/ELEVATOR. This is eapecially important in case you have elders. They may not be able to climb the stairs. On the positive side of this, there are only 2 floors

An unfortunate incident happened: our flush started leaking. The plumber was really not very helpful. Knowing how much inconvenience it was causing us, especially in the morning hours when we wanted to get ready and leave, he still kept tinkering in the bathroom, which we could not use. Neither could we use the room to get ready. Finally I had to complain to the front desk. This incident marred our otherwise pleasant stay. We were finally given access to another room while our bathroom was fixed. Another incident that I had reported to the reception staff even before we arrived and which I wish to bring to your notice is that I was getting multiple phishing emails from "The Astor through Booking" which requested me to make a prepayment to confirm my booking and asked me to give my credit card details on a phishing link. The staff asked me to complain to Booking, but it looks like the ID was made only for this hotel. It's very concerning and you need to work to eliminate such phishing accounts.
