Breakfast was minimal and all self-service: Ultra-processed biscuits, coffee, tea. The room is in a shared apartment. The apartment is furnished with heavy, dark and antique furniture. Over-priced.

Great location and views, beautiful room/old apartment.

Unfortunately the old windows/balcony doors don’t keep out any noise from the plaza so would not recommend if you are a light sleeper.

L’appartamento è incantevole, una immersione nel barocco siciliano, con soffitti affrescati. Posizione fantastica, dal balcone si vede il teatro Massimo.

Una lunga scalinata. Sono:tre piani, ma è come se fossero cinque, dato che sono altissimi (5m). Il riscaldamento è fornito dal condizionatore, che va azionato per tempo e manca in bagno.

posizione eccellente , la struttura ti catapulta nella storia e cultura di Palermo , siamo stati benissimo

The apartment was breathtaking, a beautiful historical apartment. The host was so sweet and caring. The towels were very soft and the airco was working great! I would recommend this place to everyone. The mural paintings are really unique. We are extremely grateful that we have been able to stay at this place such an unique experience!

Gabriella kept in contact with us and was helpful checking us in to her home. She explained that the property is part of her family and due to its incredible location on the main street of Palermo, it gets very loud. She thoughtfully provides ear plugs on your bedside table which you may need to take advantage of! The balcony overlooking the opera house and the hustle & bustle of Via Maqueda is a very special spot on which to enjoy a beer and people watch. The property is a beautiful home, with large shared spaces such as living and kitchen areas. The tiles and ceiling are beautiful so be sure to look down and up!

The bed’s mattress could be more comfortable and the shower head pressure much stronger but we still had a lovely stay regardless! :)
