The Pearl

I like this part of Riga so i was truly happy of location and surroundings. A nice apartment! I sitting area just in front. Friendly and helpful owners 🫶🏻

We loved staying at The Pearl! The location was easy to find and beautiful. It was also close to nice restaurants and stores. Being able to park inside the courtyard was very convenient. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had everything we needed. The host was friendly and helpful, which is always nice. So, we highly recommend staying at The Pearl if you are in the area!

Quiet and good location, free parking at front of the house, patio with seating to hang out, restaurants/pubs and grocery stores very near to the apartment.

Everthing was allmost good, chillout space for the whole house in front of all the apartment windows and as there was a fireplace, there was a strong smell on burning wood. Without open windows no way to hang out or sleep in the apartment.

Very cozy, beautiful place. Each room with zest...... Wallpaper in the kitchen, bed in the room, mirror on the door in the hallway, sink in the shower room..... is really a gem.

The only thing I couldn't make friends with was the electric surface.

The communication with the host was great. The access to the apartment is easy and the apartment is well located - only ca. 20mins on foot to the main train station, ca. 35min on foot to the old town centre (there are bus stops nearby but the buses are not always on time, so I walked if I wanted to be sure to catch my train connections). There are grocery shopping options, bars and restaurants close by. The bed is really comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and the shower is great!! There are washing machines you can use which might be useful for longer stays. Netflix is a nice bonus :-)

A couple of smaller things (it was fully ok for my 4-day stay) - all apartment windows are on the same level with the terrace outside so I had to keep my curtains closed as there were people on if from time to time. The apartment smells a bit like barbecue smoke - probably because of open windows during barbecues on the terrace in the past (I do not think much can be done about it because the apartment was really clean! But I could still smell it a bit on all my stuff after I got back from the holidays). The washing machines for the rental properties are right outside the door of the apartment, so you can hear them during the washing cycles (hovewer, I am rather noise-sensitive and I imagine not everyone would not notice it). The light and the AC in the bathroom switch on automatically with a sensor whenever you walk by and stay on for a while (the bathroom door cannot be closed). With open windows you can hear the street/ the people outside the bar/food places, but it's quiet with windows closed.

The place is very comfortable, the bed is big and comfortable, a very good shower and good internet. The kitchen is very good and there is a washing machine and clothes dryer. It is very quiet and you sleep perfectly. It is close to a bus stop

There is nothing that I didn't like, perhaps for a longer stay a little more equipment in the kitchen would be good. A larger saucepan to prepare pasta or rice, for example,
