The Pearl

The Pearl is excellent value for money! When I stayed, it was spotless with all the ammenites needed for independent travellers. Anyone I know going to Riga I'm going to advise to stay at The Pearl!

The apartment was secure, clean and very central. Excellent queen sized comfortable bed, lovely hot rain shower and star of the show, an open fireplace. Well worth paying 10 euros a bag that will last you 2-3 nights, ask in advance for this. Yes, the room will smell of smoke, just like being in a log cabin in the woods! Great for watching a large wall mounted TV and sipping some wine in the evening. A highly recommended stay to explore Riga from. Loved it!

These are easily rectified points to make it completely 5 star: Cushions for the chairs - you couldn’t sit and watch a whole movie, a tad hard. Scissors for the kitchen. Larger dinner plates. Placemats for the table - the raised design on the table is not stable for glasses. No fire lighters - Tip: You will get them in the corner supermarket, turn left, end of street, behind the counter, eventually found them!

Great location, 15-20min walk to Old Town and lots of cool 'hipster' bars and restaurants just across the road. The host offered an option to purchase logs for the fire which made it nice and cozy. Beautiful decor and design, easy access and check in.

The only small thing we didn't like was that the two pillows provided were very small and uncomfortable to sleep. It would be good to have extra pillows but its a small detail.

Great place, has a private parking.

The apartment is full of masterpiece furniture. The sink in the bathroom is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

Very good location, near shops and city center. Perfect for solo travelers. Quiet inner yard, good wi-fi and accommodating owner.

It's the star of the room, but the open fireplace has a rather strong smell of smoke.
