Blu Mare Apartment

This was the cutest and cleanest and most comfortable stay! It was very close to the train station but away from the crowds. The place was easy to find and get into because the owner replies quickly on WhatsApp and shows you video directions. The air conditioning is so nice and the bathroom is very new and clean. I really appreciate that the bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and detergent for the washing machine. The kitchen was fully stocked as well. I think it was a nice and thoughtful touch to have some cold water waiting in the fridge as well as a book of recommendations for the area. The people in Casa Cato were also very warm and helpful with recommendations as well. I’ve visited 7 countries this month and this was my favorite stay.

Can’t beat the location close to the train station and beautiful large bathroom!

The apartment is located steps away from the train station in Vernazza. It is easy to find and very convenient. You can hear the trains, but we got used to that quickly. The apartment is lovely. The King bed was the most comfortable we had on our entire Italy trip! The first morning after our arrival we met at Caso Cato, the other property, and were provided information to help us plan our time in Cinque Terre and also were able to purchase discounted train and hiking tickets.

The bathroom sink is huge but leaves no counter space. It looks cool, but is not practical. Fortunately, the washing machine is near, so you can set all of your bathroom items on top of it.

Apartment is very small with only one window also when you open the window it’s very noisy from tourists.

The location was great. We met with the host and she was super helpful giving us restaurant recommendations and tips. She helped us to buy a train pass and suggested we take the ferry which we are glad we did! The apartment was clean and comfortable.

Everything was great!

Small but very well designed space, very close to train station so moving luggage was easy. A few steps but nothing to be overly concerned about.

Air conditioner leaked so we had to wipe the floor and wring the towels every morning. The hot water was a bit tricky...sometimes hot, sometimes not. Security for the unit was great but the door lock was difficult to understand in the beginning. The unit could benefit from a written guide to take away some guess work.
