The City Comfort Haven

Quiet location. Easy walk to supermarket. Convenient and spacious. Ideal for stop over for family get together. We only stayed overnight and for quick breakfast.

Being asked for a deposit off platform. We didn't feel comfortable paying and explained it was against Booking.com policy. Owner apologised and said they had several properties and the messaging was automated and it was OK not to pay. All sorted but hassle we didn't need. House was nice but kitchen and crockery could have been cleaner. Shower leaked onto bathroom floor as guard not low enough.

For the location it is good value. But please read WHY ! Close by were shopping & eating possibilities. Quiet neighbourhood

No real preperation for our arrival. Mold & Damp. Smelly. Unclean. Leaking shower. Obvious water damage in the downstair ceilings. Dirty matresses. Very old bedding. The kitchen is not complete. The kitchen facilities are not clean. The WC does not have a door handle. The curtains are grubby and yellow. Heating in 3rd Bedroom is very loud. This house lacks a complete overhaul and needy attention !

No handle in the bathroom, still lockable, but tricky for the little ones. Beds were not n a great condition and pretty uncomfortable.

The house is located very close to the city centre - it's a 20min walk. The neighbourhood of the house is quiet and nice, nearby parks and playgrounds. The staff were quick in reacting to any requests.

The interior needed a few fixes. The staff took care of it right away. The downstairs smelled for cigarettes and food.

Location was handy for everything we needed in Manchester and local shops and fast food is minutes walk away
