Merzouga Lovely Luxury Camp

We had a full day out in the desert: camel ride, stargazing at night, then a visit to the Nomads and lunch in a local village the next day. The quad ride at the end was a fun way to finish. If anything, the food could have been better, but it didn’t take away from the rest of it.

From the moment I arrived, this camp wrapped me in comfort and calm. The tents were simple yet cozy, and the peaceful desert silence was exactly what I needed. The genuine warmth of the hosts made the experience unforgettable, and the night sky full of stars was simply breathtaking.

My night in Merzouga was more than just a travel stop it was a moment of connection. As the sun dipped behind the dunes, the world turned silent, except for the soft breeze brushing against the sand. The sky slowly turned into a canvas of stars, so clear and close it felt like you could reach out and touch them. We shared stories around the fire, ate simple but delicious food, and listened to the rhythm of Berber drums echoing into the night. Lying beneath the open sky, far from noise and distraction, I felt both small and deeply at peace. The desert has a way of stripping everything down to what truly matters."

Great experience! The tent was extremely comfortable, with all the required furniture and commodities. The team and the food were great, I discussed with the team there and we aligned for a full day activities there, 4x4 in the desert, quad, camel and we got great activities to enjoy the Amazigh culture..

"Spending the night in Merzouga was truly special. The camp was clean and cozy, with everything thoughtfully prepared from the tidy sleeping areas to the warm welcome from the hosts. The food was one of the highlights: rich, flavorful Moroccan dishes that tasted even better under the open sky. Dinner felt like a shared moment, not just a meal. Later, the music began traditional Berber rhythms played live around the fire. It was simple, honest, and beautiful. Between the delicious food, the peaceful setting, and the energy of the music, I felt completely present. It was more than a stay it was a memory."

The camp is wonderful, surrounded by date palms and among the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Environment with attention to detail, excellent cleanliness, hospitality typical of the Berber tradition, the tents are beautiful, equipped with all comforts, perfectly furnished in local style, very spacious and well spaced, the illuminated lanterns in the evening create a magical atmosphere. Very kind staff, varied breakfast with a wide choice of savory and sweet, delicious and abundant dinner served at the table with typical Moroccan dishes. After dinner music and dancing in front of the fire with the staff guys. It is reached by a pleasant dromedary ride of about an hour through the dunes shaped by the wind. The silence, the warm desert wind, the carpets, the stars, great atmosphere, an unforgettable experience

We stayed in the Camp and we really loved! Mohammed and the staff are really friendly and we really enjoyed the evening with them and the camel ride. Out tented was really beautiful! Hope to come again . Best from Switzerland! Cristina and friends

Incredible experience in the dunes! Very friendly & entertaining staff, tent is luxurious with a very large comfortable bed. Feels extravagant taking a hot shower in the middle of the Sahara. There's also a snowboard for sandboarding, We did 4x4 excursion around the desert , we visited Nomads Families, Gnawa music, Panorama view... Highly recommended!

was a spectacular experience from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. They welcomed us with tea and pastries, they explained the activities to us, the staff is very friendly... Dinner was exquisite and very abundant. Later we had a party with live music, there were only 4 guests but the guys treated us great and invited us to play and sing with them. The next day we took a wonderful quad excursion. We would return 100 times more!
