Great location, lovely staff and loved the little touches in the room and very dog friendly. Great breakfast too and catered really well for food allergies.

The accommodation was excellent and very convenient as we were attending a wedding at the chaucer barn. The staff were very helpful as we needed to check in early to change for the wedding, as we travelled up from London. The breakfast was very tasty, and the full English breakfast was amazing.

Pub meal was disappointing compared to to our stay last year.

Comfortable, clean . Well stocked with tea/ coffee. Food excellent and staff especially friendly.

Liked it was a pub and restaurant so not far to go after a drink. Food was lovely although a bit on the pricier side

Room was very hot but then it was hottest day if year. A fan in the room would have been a nice touch.

The staff were very friendly, the food was great (fantastic breakfast), room was newly decorated (brand new bathroom) and spotlessly clean. Good selection of drinks and water in room, good quality linen/towels. Comfortable bed and sofa. Lovely beer garden, with a pool table and dart board. Really nice pub, restaurant and hotel.

The restaurant in the evening was under staffed, so quite slow. I waited 20 minutes just to get the menu and then similar for every interaction thereafter after. Pretty much one nice chap taking orders, clearing tables and serving food. Shame as the staff and food were great. My pet hate in hotel rooms; no plug sockets by the bedside cabinet!

The breakfast was excellent as were the evening meals we had good selection to choose from.The staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. Lovely beer garden plenty of tables with parasols to keep the sun off and even a water barrel to cater for your canine companion.

Can't really think of anything it was an excellent stay.
