Clean comfortable room. All staff were very friendly & helpful. We had evening meal & breakfast which was excellent & can highly recommend.

Ideal location for us as part of our mini tour of the area. Very comfortable accomodation room facilities were great. Lovely atmosphere and all the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.

What a gem! A great find, I will stay again. I was initially unsure about the 'pub grub'-esque menu, but the food is leagues above this, you won't be disappointed.

I found everything fine, no complaints.

The friendly staff (despite being very busy when we arrived) were great and you are immediately made to feel at home from the moment you arrive. The room was exceptionally clean with the bathroom looking like it was recently renovated. The mattress had a thick memory foam top on it which made for a comfy sleep. The breakfast was delicious and very generously portioned.

There was a live band on the Friday night we stayed and naturally the sound travelled into the room and not in a muffled way. Having said that, it sounds like even without a band, the sounds of the pub can be heard in the room quite audibly so if you're going on a busy Friday or Saturday night, best you join in downstairs until last orders!
