We loved historic restored parts of the building (the lounge, library and bar). The rooms were a good size, clean and everything was excellent quality. It had a breezy outdoors in vibe through the communal parts of the building which worked nicely.

The property locked in the laundry department with only two washer/ dryer set up for this size of hotel and while we were staying one was out of order. There was a bit of a scram for people to get things clean and dry. The bento breakfast requires two days prior notice which we hadn’t understood when booking. We definitely would have like to try the breakfasts and would have done so if the rule had been more flexible or even if a simpler version of the breakfast available for late booking.

Location was great it was easy to find the baths were nice (modern and pool-like tiled bathing, not natural looking pools) Nice area, wish I tried a few of the nearby restaurants
