- The size of the room was huge and we got a good deal which brought the King suite down to a lower price. - Despite its ugly location in the middle of a construction zone off the highway, it was genuinely very quiet - you couldn't hear hallway or outside noise at all. I'm a very sensitive sleeper so this was important to me. But the A/C was extremely loud, if you care about that. - We were only a 15-20 minute drive from the riverwalk on average. If you're here for a conference, it's not a bad place to stay. - The staff, once you can find them, are generally polite and easy to interact with.

- The couch in our King Suite had crusty white stains all over it... - The bed was hard, thin (you could feel the metal grooves of the boxspring), and squeaky. - My standards are pretty low, but the breakfast was by far the worst of any budget hotel I've ever been to. Regardless of whether you get there 5 minutes after it starts or an hour, you must choose between cold stale tater tots, or cold scrambled eggs with the most bizarre texture (look like volcanic glass, felt like silken tofu). It seemed like their only heat well wasn't working. You can also have a waffle no toppings, stale raisin bran with whole milk, stale white bread, extremely poor quality coffee, or sugary juice from concentrate. That's it. But they do have a Cracker Barrel directly outside of the hotel, in case you're not impressed with cold eggs. - Check in took a while as there seemed to only be one employee clocked in and she was upstairs. As we were checking in, a gentleman in front of us was informing the hotel staff through a translator that there either weren't enough towels, or that the ones he arrived to find in his room were still soiled. Overall these are things I can accept, mostly because it was quiet, spacious, and cheap. I might stay here again if my budget is similar - quiet hotels are hard to come by in this price range.

they keycard kept not working, so you’d have to ask the front desk to fix it over and over again
