great location, ground floor, open yet private space, thoughtful decor, dehumidifier-fan-aircon combination worked great, Netflix, good quality toilet rolls, comfortable. Last but least, good value for money.

1. It was a hassle and added pressure to have to lock up a café business every time we wanted to get in/out of the property after 5pm. 2. The thin glass panel separating the café and the room on the ground floor was very flimsily constructed - no handle, no locking mechanism from the inside, and it was positioned too closely to the opening of the room door. 3. We would be bitten by the mosquitoes if we forgot to light the mosquito coil in the ensuite bathroom which was a few steps, a glass door and a further few stops away in the courtyard. 4. Whilst there were many light switches, the lighting was romantic/dim at best.

Amazing place, beautiful decors, wonderful location, I felt like I was living la dolce vita in a small town in Italy. Bed was comfortable, the manager Winnie was firm but always made sure was in order.

Lots of mosquitoes, so need to be mindful to Keep the dooors close. In the morning at 9.15am, I was woken up by the music coming from the cafe. It was strange as they didn’t have any customers at that time. So if you’re the type to party and sleep late, you have to be mindful this will likely happen. You will also hear people who walk past the room at the back alleys; but this is unavoidable.

There are no lifts- just so you know. But I didn’t mind it.

It was like a visit to dreamland, phantoms of cinema history, beautiful room design, the big Monty Python Book on the desk. Formidable experience!
