Guests highly rate the friendly staff and frequently praise the great location.
ZAThe breakfast was lovely and great that it was freshly prepared. The only thing I'd suggest is having filter coffee (not just instant).
It was very quiet as not too many guests had booked for the days we were there so it was rather empty and lacked a bit of a vibe.
ZAExceptional staff.
ZAthe location is good and central to Hluluwe game reserve, the staff were fantastic and extremely accommodating and friendly.
I did not like the green disgusting crocodile pond which is an eye sore and i felt really bad for so many crocodiles in such a small area:( definitely not for me
GBThe property is just not loved....
USThis place is a perfect getaway if you'd like to explore the Hluhluwe Game Reserve. We stayed here for a couple nights and then self drove the park. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. We had a wonderful Christmas dinner too! Thanks to the chef!
ZAStaff and facilities were awesome

ZAThe staff was very friendly and the place was clean
The breakfast wasn’t so great
ZAThe team on site were amazing and so accommodating. It was an amazing experience to first booking and then the overall stay. Would highly recommend.
ZAThe only thing we enjoyed was the Fever trees and the food.
The property is run down, the manager was very dismissive of the fact that the thatch roof right above the bed leaks like a sieve. So much so that the bedding gets soaked and I had to sleep on the bottom of the bed to avoid getting wet with towels covering me and the bed. He offered no alternative or solution, just made excuses and was dismissive of the problem. There animals on the property are basically non-existent. I do not know how long the new owners have had ownership but it needs a huge amount of improvement. You need to rethink your management. The serving staff, cleaning staff and the chef were very pleasant and the food was excellent. However the cost of the meals was exorbitant as the food was very plain. I don't eat alot for breakfast and to pay R200 for a piece of toast and coffee is ridiculous.
