The basin has a leak, the shower handle didn't work properly, the kettle was unclean and the cupboard door was broken and could have fallen on us

“Disappointing Experience – Unresolved Issues and No Refund” “I booked a 4-night stay at The Reward Villas expecting a relaxing retreat, but my experience was far from it. The villa itself had issues from the start—cleanliness wasn’t up to standard, the toilet was worn out, and overall it didn’t meet the level of quality I expected. However, things took a turn for the worse on the first night when we discovered what looked like animal excrement on our bed (possibly from a bat). We requested fresh sheets and thought the issue was resolved. Unfortunately, on the third night, more excrement actually fell on my boyfriend’s leg while we were in bed, and yet another piece landed on the sheets. When we alerted the staff, they offered to show us a different room, but to our shock, there was also excrement on the bed in that room. Given it was late, we decided to stay in our original room for the night, but we arranged to check out a night early and were promised a refund for the unused night. The villa staff even had me sign an agreement confirming the refund and, in exchange, asked that I refrain from posting a negative review, also they have failed to uphold this agreement. I have followed up for over six weeks, only to be sent in circles—Booking.com keeps telling me that it’s the hotel who needs to arrange the refund, while the hotel gives me no clear update and insists I go through Booking. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I feel misled. I can’t recommend The Reward Villas based on what I went through. Save yourself the hassle and stay elsewhere.” This version clarifies the back-and-forth issue you’re experiencing with the refund. Location is good if you want to be close to great restaurants and also not far from the airport. The room is quite big, and accomodates up to 4 people, which is a great option if you travel with your family. Bathroom is big, and the private pool is a great bonus, even if small, is allows you to relax.

Villa is lovely and big could do with another bed upstairs instead of the sofa area. Bathroom lovely and big as well as a huge double bed, nice sized tv and great wifi. Food was lovely in the morning and the service of beers and snacks from the attached restaurant was great.

The pool was very dirty I think it’s from the roof as it got a lot worse after rain. There is nowhere to sunbathe so could do with a lilo, deck chair or sun lounger(s). The bath took around 1/1.5 hours to run so was pointless. Also the door wouldn’t lock to the bedroom so was left open all night which I didn’t like as I was travelling solo.

Cleanness was very bad, we find a Rat going from one villa to the other and the daily cleaning was not very good.
