Goldie&Leon rooms Cernobbio

We picked Cernobbio at the last minute because our first booking was unexpectedly cancelled by the host. We didn’t regret any minute due to this town is a lot quieter compared to overcrowded and a bit overrated Como town. Still it is easily reachable by ferry so you don’t actually need a car for that. Therefore i must say we were very happy to stay in this apartment and appreciate amazing care and support from Eleonora, the owner🙏🏻

Everything was spotless clean and new, with great attention to details, including toiletries (even a spray to remove creases from clothes), biscuits and coffee, very clear instructions for entering the apartment, as well as for parking. Eleonora was really friendly and helpful

Just the neighbors on the same floor were a bit loud

Everything was great, from the choice of furniture to the location and the nice and friendly hostess.

Pros: The owner, Eleonora was absolutely lovely, responding immediately to messages. She and her husband were kindness personified. The flat was spacious, spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed, good shower, and a little balcony. There was a good-sized mini fridge and a coffee machine. Short walk to some very good local restaurants and a big Lidl supermarket. If you are taking the boat from Como, it's a 10 minute walk from Tavernola or Cernobbio stops.

Cons: Would have liked a table or desk, to work on my laptop.

Courtesy cookies were really tasty and handy for those days where you are craving for something sweet. The main bed was spacious and comfortable. The room s decor was nice and current. Internet TV in the room. Internet was good and stable. Comfortable bathroom. Big and airy. Near a super market and a 15-minute walk from the water taxy stop. Really cool and handy leaflet prepared by the hosts listing Taxis, Security Info, Wi fi, etc. Really neat and helpful.

At the time of booking, we did not notice the property does not have an elevator ( which is fine, we understand most of them of this type don t ) While it s not a huge issue, there are too many doors to unlock to finally get to the room. The shower is rather small so there was not too much space to move in it.
