Central location, cozy room

Friendly host Saad. Room was clean and spacious. Location is close to attractions.

A few slopes and steps to get to the hotel. In hotel a few stairs to reach the rooms.

Location was close to the main square with only a short distance from carpark to carry luggage in comparison to other accommodation in the Medina. Bed, pillows and linen comfortable. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Room heating was good. Dar is small and suitable for 1-2 nights. Room is equipped with a small microwave and fridge. Was good value.

Bathroom is very small with no space for toiletries storage. Floor became wet with only a short shower curtain. No clothes storage. Apartment is a generous description. Kitchenette is very basic. Rooftop is small and basic. No sun protection or lounges. There is table and chairs that we used.

We normally don’t give a 10/10 but this Dar was really exceptionally excellent. We liked the combination of Moroccan artisan furniture and Ikea home design. On top of that Saad, the owner, is very helpful and puts a lot of effort in making your stay in Chefchaouen a wonderful experience. Don’t hesitate if you can book this place.

The staff was very helpful. We were watching the Spain-Morocco match of the World Cup with the owner. The location was wonderful, it was at 2 minutes walking to the center.

The only thing that we did not like was the shower curtain, because it was not comfortable when you had a shower.

Wonderful guesthouse in Chefchaouen, everyone knows what a cool town it is. Thank you for having me stay.

Saad is the most kind and gracious host you could ever hope to have. he was so happy to help with any query to transport to repairing clothing. The apartment is clean and comfortable and the terrace is lovely to sit on and gaze across the rooftops and mountains.

It can take a little while to heat up in the middle of winter but I think that’s similar in a lot of places and because it’s a whole apartment. It definitely does work, though.

Beautiful old building, comfortable beds, welcoming host. Able to have coffee and microwave snacks.

If we had brought our big packs the room would have been too small.
