Wytham Manor House

The room was very spacious and the bed really comfortable. A nice variety of food available in the restaurant making it very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Safe parking.

Kids attending a birthday party downstairs, with their parents, were making a lot of noise in the passage outside the room after 22h00. Spoke to them and they then went away.

Fabuleux manoir, très joliment rénové et confortable. La nourriture était très bien, ainsi que le service au bar-restaurant, personnel aimable.

Fenêtres et porte mal isolées, pas de rideaux opaques : nous étions réveillés tous les matins par la lumière et le bruit du couloir et du jardin. Le service à la réception était médiocre. Notre check-in s’est notamment mal passé car à 23:30, après un très long voyage et malgré avoir prévenu par deux fois que nous arriverons tard, personne n’était là pour nous accueillir et aucune instruction n’avait été laissée. C’est la personne au poste de garde qui a dû nous attribuer une chambre au hasard. Nous aurions pu passer outre mais les jours suivants la personne de la réception n’a pas non plus été d’une grande utilité pour répondre à nos questions, et à nouveau personne pour le check-out. Nous avons dû laissé la clé au bar.

Shower floor slippery when wet. Needs waterproof mat.

The location was great, very central, and close to the office I visited. The room and bathroom were huge and tastefully decorated. I liked the overall aesthetic of the place. The staff and food were exceptional. I had dinner here as well and it was really tasty and good value for money.

Good location, quiet neighbourhood, 20 minutes car drive from everything. Beautiful building in nice garden setting, very nice rooms and bathrooms with all comfort.

The hotel is part of an estate which also contains retirement appartments, in a separate building. But all facilities are in the Hotel part of the estate, such as a medical room and gym activity room. The restaurant is focussed on it's residents needs and habits.

In quiet cul de sac just off the main routes that connect to pretty much all the main places of interest in Cape Town and peninsula. Excellent location. Safe and secure premises. Rooms nicely appointed and spacious. Public areas spacious and comfortable and allows for privacy. Staff were friendly, professional and attentive.

The classic detail on the facilities. The rooms were big and stylish. Bed was comfortable. Facilities were clean and had everything one would need.

The roll down blinds and light curtains were a bit of an issue for me as it let in some light from the garden lighting at night, which disturbed my sleep. There could be more options on the breakfast as well.
