Casa Cozy

The property was homely and well decorated with home facilities. The host was accessible and helpful. The property was spacious. We as a family found it really nice. Lots of space and warm and inviting.

TV is a Amazon fire stick linked device and the controller wasn't around so whilst it was a large TV we couldn't use it. However only a minor issue for us. I didn't contact the person about this as we were happy as there's a TV in the main room. If we had contacted the owner I'm sure she would have sorted out the TV.

Good location

House needs some tlc, dusty, things not working, broken banister, doors not shutting properly ( warped). Missing glass in front door. Lots of rubbish outside.

Great little house, had everything we needed for a short stay.

It was cold on arrival, but we sent a message to the host and we got the hearing turned up. The toilet door didn’t shut fully

There was a massive crack in the lounge ceiling and the floor above felt bowed, was worried it’d cave in. Toilet separate from bathroom but missing hand sink, should be one and the same room as the toilet. Doors didn’t closed properly upstairs where floor had bowed. Great location and house just let down by upstairs layout and the crack in the ceiling/floor bowing etc upstairs

The property was lovely and big. The house is central like we needed. Beds were really comfy and the rooms were spacious! Great value for money. The property has wonderful potential.

Hosts were great once we finally got hold of them due to a problem getting into the property. Had a few problems like the tv not working and there not being a hair dryer which the hosts never got back to us about which was a bit annoying when we planned to have the evening in after a long day. Careful with little ones in the house as some of the cupboards haven’t been locked and they have things that guests shouldn’t really be able to access in.

The key code was easy to use, it was quite spacious and well located.

We were happy with the property overall initially, although it does need attention to detail. We didn't like no hot water for our arrival day and into the second day. I tried to contact owner through booking.com but got no reply, but later used the Whatsapp number to contact her. Before we arrived, we were told that the TV in the lounge wasn't working, although I now notice that other guests had the same problem ( looking at reviews). When the owner responded about the lack of hot water, she offered to send her dad who quickly came. We noticed that the boiler had no water pressure and there was a message on it stating to contact the installer. Her dad came for less than 10 minutes and filled the boiler and then left. However, when we went to use the hot water, there was nothing at all coming out of the hot side of the taps, and nothing coming out of the shower. I messaged the owner who was very rude, insisting that her father had fixed it and it had been working when he was there implying we were lying, and also stated that he had checked it with us. This was not true as we didn't hear or see him run the hot tap to check it. She replied stating" how do you know if you weren't there!". I found this extremely rude. I had sent videos to show no water was coming out of the hot side of the tap but she still would not accept that it wasn't working. The owner did agree to get someone else to rectify the situation, which she did. Unfortunately, this had disrupted a few hours of our stay and marred our experience at Casa Cozy. The house itself is very sweet although we did notice some issues which others might find unacceptable. *The boiler does not appear to have been serviced since 2022. *TV not working * No WIFI password left- rubbed out from a chalkboard.

Great location for where we needed to get to during our stay. The house feels really spacious. Shower is great.

Dirty dishes in Dishwasher when we arrived. TV didn't work but could have been user error! Basic kitchen equipment like a saucepan and more than 3 forks would have been useful, especially as it sleeps 6.

Amazing place to stay, house was bigger than expected, lovely set out, clean, tidy. Kitchen well equipped. Great location to Torquay and Paignton. Owner, was very friendly and helpful.

Parking can be a bit of an issue, short on spaces. Only negative would be that the front patio area does need tidying up, weeds , abit of rubbish and seating area very dirty. If that was sorted then there would be no negative 👍🏼
