The Exotica Agonda

The Indian food was by far the best on the area. We tried other places but more often we would find ourselves coming back to the property to have lunch or dinner. Location is very convenient just next to the beach and the rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. And the porch is nice place to laze around in the mornings and afternoons. Thanks for Sumit, the kitchen crew, Rahul , Surendra and the cleaning team. It’s a small team trying to do a lot of things with a smile on the face.

Nothing as such

The rooms are spacious, standalone huts, providing plenty of personal space. They're well-maintained and give a cozy, homelike atmosphere. The staff is exceptional, striking the perfect balance between being attentive and respecting guest privacy. I spent three wonderful weeks here and loved every moment. On my next visit to Agonda, this will 100% be my choice of stay.

Simple, spacious and spotless huts set in a tranquil garden (a little bit of noise from the nearby road, but very quiet by India standard), wifi worked most of the time. Cute dogs were a bonus! 3 minutes from the beach and on the quiet south end of Agonda with less tacky shops etc., which worked perfectly for us.

Staff was so unmotivated it was almost comical, it seemed like we were bothering them when requesting the most basic parts of hospitality service. This seems to be an Agonda/Goa beach thing, as we found almost all the staff in the village like this. To be fair, everything did work out in the end, including airport transfer. Breakfast and other meals took 30-45 minutes to arrive even though occupancy was low. Plastic cushion covers don't work well with the climate (easily resolved by placing a beach towel on them, though).

The location and the vibe of property, it is tropical paradise. Nice service and adorable dogs everywhere to cheer your day. Must visit in agonda, clean cottages, good food and bliss to experience.

The food was fab, and Sumit, the Manager, was very friendly and helpful 😀
