Hotel Grand Square

Excellent stay near the centre. Good, neat and clean rooms. Polite and supportive staff.

Parking space is a little concern

Hotel location was close to the lake. Huge rooms compared to most hotels. The television was a smart tv. Reception was neat.

The parking was not good. The slope of the entry and parking space for a 4 wheeler is not well laid out. They wouldn’t accept credit cards, instead insisting on UPI. They had mentioned a bill would be provided by booking.com but on viewing the booking they have cancelled it. Booking.com now shows a penalty has to be paid. In terms of the room. The toilet had an unpleasant smell. They’d only kept one towel in our room despite the booking mentioning a family stay. During checkout they had verified the room and asked us about the same which they should’ve known since they checked us in. There was no restaurant, so no breakfast. No good and hygienic eatery options close-by. The hotel is right next to a gas cylinder shop. Walking outside the hotel was unpleasant cause of the smell.

Hotel is located along side the road at prime location near boathouse,rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. Friendly staff, nice ambience made our stay comfortable
