Best property we have ever stayed at. It’s carefully taken cared of and the surroundings grounds are just espectacular. The staff is amazing, we loved all of them and already miss them! Their work is just exquisite. Room was amazing and breakfast one of the best moments of the day! Also would recommend doing the tasting menu, food is amazing. Afternoon tea was a treat as well. 100% recommended, it will always be a special place to us. We are sure we will be back 🩷

The history and furnishings

Individually these may seem like minor details, but collectively they affected the overall smoothness and comfort of the stay. On arrival, a welcome cake was provided, which was appreciated. However, the tea canister lid had visible stains, and no breakfast menu was available in the room, requiring us to call to request it. On another occasion, we left the room service sign while out, but the room was not attended to after several hours, and we had to follow up. Room service was inconsistent. On the second day, drinks were missing and there was no cover, leaving the food exposed. The toast was served plain, without butter or condiments, which was surprising for a hotel of this standard. A member of staff also stepped onto the newspaper placed outside the door when entering and leaving the room. We had stayed at a B&B prior to this visit, where the service felt more attentive. For those seeking a relaxing getaway, the experience here may not fully meet expectations.
