The location was good

The manager is a rude cheater. He didn't inform us of the checkout time.. when we asked about it he said it's not a problem. We were ready by the time we went and had breakfast, at that also they saw us but didn't inform anything about extra money but we came back, he accused is of lying and was using abusive words... Worst experience ever in my travel history

Location was really good, next to beach and close to many restaurants. Staff was good and helpful. Welcoming with sweet smile. Room size was good, they had seperate space for bed and one big room which had fridge and a table with chairs to eat.

Wifi was not working properly most of the times, if you even using for WhatsApp calls, it was not working. They should need to work on this. They should add complimentary water bottle in the room, which I believe is very basic even for a home stay. They had advised rooms from 2000 sri lankan currency outside their place, which was not there in Booking.com.

Next to very loud bar. No wifi, shower has no hot water.

Decent room with comfy bed, place clean and spacious. Old building, but with vibes of staying in a nice villa of a friendly aunt. Climatic interior and exterior. Not every place has to be a brand new building. This one has a good price for what you get.

Loud party outside from Rodeo pub across the street until late night (didn't bother me that much as I'm used to city life, but if you're travelling with kids or you're a light sleeper then think twice before booking)

Nice staff, super comfortable bed, lots of restaurants, ATMs and mini supermarkets nearby.

Really outdated bathroom - with a lipstick stained shower curtain - which took away from the niceness of the room.

Churchill, the patron, could not have been more helpful, and amiable. Breakfasts were good, and all in all, it was a very nice experience and well equipped rooms!

I booked this hotel 3 rooms by booking.com. Unfortunately, we didn't stay in this hotel. We requested the owner to leave immediately because both rooms' air conditions were not cooling. We tried to check other hotels nearby because we were very tired & had a long trip from Kandy. But I booked again from booking.com Sentido Heritance hotel in the same area.
