Quirky apartment, laid out well with all the necessary amenities and located close to Bath city centre. Fari informed us of the location, parking and how to enter the property also some tips, bus/taxi/local towns etc. which was quite helpful.

Suited our requirements.

Fari, the host, was very helpful. He gave us a ride into town, pointed out the best sites to see and even offered us a drink at his bar. The Litttle Paddock was exceptional - completely updated to a very high standard.

The location was perfect as I was there for an event at the University. The house was lovely and comfortable. Instructions for the free channels on the TV would have been helpful.

I was highly stressed while dealing with the property owner, as his communication was lacking. I booked the first 3 nights through Booking.com. I inquired about extending our stay. He agreed to hold a few days extra for us by removing them from availability on Booking.com. I confirmed the extended stay and inquired about the payment method. He said to pay through Booking.com, but we couldn't, as he had taken the dates out of the availability calendar. Over the next few months, I checked back with him frequently about making a payment. He finally sent his bank details for payment, but the bank stated that he was missing some necessary information for the payment to go through. So we inquired again. In the end, my friend got ill and couldn't come on the trip, but tried to make the payment again. A week before arriving, I wrote to the owner again to request confirmation of receipt of the second payment for the additional days. He responded that he wouldn't know for a few days and added, "But don't worry, you won't go homeless." My confirmation stated that I would be sent a code to retrieve the keys and gain access to the property. I did not receive this. For two days, I sent messages through Booking.com and also to his email address (which I had been using for correspondence regarding the extended stay & payment). He did not respond. Later that evening, I arrived at the house next door to learn that the owner had gone away and the housesitters had no idea the property was booked. They found a set of keys, and I was able to get in later that night. I received the lock box code the day AFTER I arrived. However, on the 4th day, I received a message from the owner that I had to vacate the property as he had other guests booked in for the 2nd part of my stay. My friend called Booking.com, but they wouldn't help. I was allowed to stay an extra night, but had to leave the property and find another place to stay. The owner blamed me.

The property was really stylish and well equipped. The furnishings and decor were great and there were lots of touches including extra supplies of items like towels and bedding, lots of books and board games. It was just very nice.

Large comfortable apartment with modern bathroom and large kitchen. Light and airy space. 45 minute walk into Bath down a steep hill, bus also runs m-sat.

Walking back up hill on sunday!
