"2 night stay"

Everything, seriously couldn't find anything to dislike or moan about. Great location, beaches and villages all within 15min drive. The cottage itself was immaculate and Neil's advice was spot. Great stay around 😁

"A comfortable cosy stay in a very convenient location"

Fantastic home away from home. Great location with local pub only 10 mins walk. The interior was spotless and comfortable, the hosts made us very welcome.

Could have done with a few more bits of cutlery in the kitchen and some more large saucepans, but who really goes on holiday to cook (apart from me!)

"Really lovely place to stay - home from home"

A lovely clean and charming cottage with everything you could need for a great stay. Met by hosts you were lovely and able to suggest places for us to eat which we visited. Great location with lovely views and easy access to the coast and walking routes. A place to recommend.

"Great cottage stay"

Neil and Sarah were great hosts, friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. A lovely garden area to sit in was very welcome. Great spot from which to explore the countryside and a short drive to the coast and seaside towns. We’d be happy to stay again.

"Loved Ashes!"

Loved the location and the cottage is lovely. We were warmly greeted by Sarah and Neil on arrival. The cottage was "a home from home". I'm very happy to recommend a stay at Ashes.

"Lovely!"

The cottage is in an ideal location, close to nearby family for us and to many local facilities while still feeling like we were in a rural village location. There was a little rabbit so my grandaughter loved talking to her everything we left and returned. The cottage was perfect for the 4 of us and was comfy and tastefully decorated. We will definitely use it again!

"A fantastic high quality property in a great location"

Lovely friendly welcome and little touches like a welcome sign for us in the window- It let us know we were in the right place and made us feel important! Also tea/coffee welcome pack was very nice. The beds were extremely comfortable ans everything felt very new and fresh. Lovely garden too.

"Perfect!!"

A lovely place to stay in a great location. Lots of thoughtful extras in the cottage such as tea, coffee, biscuits and milk in the fridge on arrival. The cottage was lovely and clean with cosy beds. Very family friendly with games for the children inside the cottage and in the garden. We felt very welcome and have had a lovely holiday. Would definitely recommend.
