FRThe friendliness of the staff. In the lobby, the receptionists were very keen to answer all my questions and make my stay as comfortable as possible. In the restaurant, staff spoke basic English, which I appreciated as they worked to provide an enjoyable meal, which it was. Food is excellent with many non-spicy options. The location is great, although far from the ghats, as it is near a lake and a garden which makes it a quiet place to stay to have a break from honking vehicles in the street. Overall, one of my best stays in India.
Probably, and ironically, also the location, far from the ghats, 15-20 min walk, but not a major issue.
USHotel Ananda Kashi was an oasis of calm in Varanasi. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nicer than hotels that cost twice as much. The bathroom and linens were clean. The location is within 15 minutes of the most famous temple and some great street food.
The WiFi was not working when I was there.
AEFriendly efficient and and even the food we had in the night was excellent; car arrangement to airport / pick up from airport, drive to Ayodhya all were top class - the staff were courteous and nice to deal with
They don't clean the bathroom and the floor on daily basis; one day stay fine as we don't need the place to be cleaned, for the 2nd day despite reminding the cleaning was not done - except for bed made up
INCooperative staff, pretty clean, good service, food was very reasonably priced...they accommodated us for a little extra time beyond the check out time..
They charged me for early check in... though I had mentioned that we would reach by 7.00am. Seems more a communication gap between bookings.com and the hotel..
