For the price it was excellent. Well placed for bird watching.

Could have been more soundproof. The chap in the next room snored

Nothing. Well on arrival I was met abroughtly by the male owner on the drive. Pleasant at first once he showed me my bed ie Chalet. Which is little more than a shed. I asked about towels. He then went of into one. Saying at this price we don't supply towels and shouldn't be doing bedding..He then said people bring own towels and bedding sleeping bags etc. I said hanging ive not mentioned price. He then went to another shed and gave a rather tatty looking small beech towel with a hole in it. That smelled. I carried on unpacked. A little later a couple arrived again I heard them ask about Towel again of He went on about how cheep it is etc to them . I think they hired towels of him. Now I paid for 2 nights for just myself £108. For shed that wasn't big enough to swing a cat. No TV. No towel. The sheds are connected and the walls so thin I could just not hear the conversation next door I joined in. I won't be stopping there again. However I found his wife to be very pleasant.

Shower was ok

We have stayed here several times now because it is just so good! The cabins are so cosy, have everything you need, and the beds are really comfy, which is important after a long day walking! The kitchen is spotless and has everything you need, and the bathrooms are great as well. If you are looking for somewhere to stay for birdwatching or coastal walks, this place is just brilliant!

Everything was spot on, as it always is, except some other guests who were very rude to the owners after sneaking an extra person into their cabin. The owners bend over backwards to make everyone welcome and keep the site pristine so I only mention it as the other guests threatened them with a bad review!

Just what we needed after a long bike ride

It was exactly what I was looking for - somewhere comfortable to rest after exploring the area. The host was very friendly and advised us on the best places to visit, which I really appreciated.
