Beacon House Bunks

It was very clean - great kitchen equipment - nice touches (complementary tea, coffee etc). Showers were very good.

According to Booking.com's description,...... The hostel features a shared kitchen, OUTDOOR SEATING AREA,, and full-day security. Additional amenities include bicycle parking, free on-site private parking, and A BALCONY FOR RELAXATION'. I did try to communicate with the owners privately after his 'shame on you' comment. He couldn't have provided a balcony for relaxation, so we decided to make the best of what we had, which was a beautifully clean room with beautifully clean showers and kitchen, AND fabulous fellow travellers. The owners really work hard to keep it perfect. I suggested that he should amend the description... but heard nothing. Outdoor space may not be important to most people, but it is to us, and, having read the description, thought we'd found what we were looking for. The description remains the same. And I refused to accept his shame on me.

A very welcoming host. Clean and comfortable room. Kitchen and bathroom clean and tidy

I could hear every word spoken in the room next door as well as snoring. A thought should have gone into soundproofing when they were built

Towels could be provided as part of the service - wasn't expecting to have to pay for them. Not good form.

Perfect place for a couple of days photographing the wildlife on the cliffs

Short walk to Flamborough village. Clean and tidy. Staff were helpful.

No real sound protection between the rooms. We could head next door snoring.

Exceptionally clean room with comfortable twin beds and shared facilities. Both bathrooms were equally spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. Owners are friendly and welcoming and happy to help with information on the area. Meeting other interesting travellers was a highlight.

Really friendly staff. The room was cosy and communal kitchen well stocked for complimentary tea,coffee, squash and had everything you'd need if you wished to make yourself some food in there. 2 shower/WC rooms were spacious, clean and really nicely decorated. Stones throw away from Bempton Cliff, Flamborough and Danes Dyke.

Great affordable place to stay for our Photographic break to Bempton Cliffs. Location was great. Parking very easy. Room was basic but met our requirement perfectly. Separate external bathrooms were nice and clean with access to a kitchen was just what we needed.

Nothing
