this property was booked by my daughter who was going through a severe mental health crisis at the time. She was shown the room that she booked and paid for (delux double) then quickly told she could not have it and was taken to another very small room at the top of many stairs. She became very loud as she realised she was being taken advantage of and the owner threw her out. I called them to let them know she was very unwell and could they please refund as they hadn't allowed her to stay. The owner, Danny Potts told me I was disgusting to ask for a refund and that I shouldn't 'allow' my daughter (44 years old ) to book rooms. Definitely not a nice man.

Window didn’t open. Bathroom was a little damp as no window/extractor fab

It was clean and near facilities and good location. The room was a good size and good shower

The room didn’t have any coat hangers to hang clothes and again as in many hotels the plugs were not near a mirror. Cups were dusty and dirty for tea /coffee. Approached to hotel was confusing and not very inviting in appearance. Was quite dirty in the garden area. Wasn’t sure if breakfast was including( although for over £300 should have been) the owner offered us a free breakfast but we declined but it was also offered on the Sunday but no one was there. Owners weren’t really around. Smell of drugs was also in our families room.

Lovely independent business with a charming chatty and helpful landlady. The decor in the rooms was dark, sumptuous and boudoir like, perfect for a weekend away with the girlfriend.
