Wish the sauna was open more, I missed the mowing session They don’t have transfer service from ferry, we rolled our luggage to site (10 min walk). In retrospect it would have been better to organize my luggage the day before and leave my main bag at the station + and only take an overnight bag to hotel.

The staff was very kind and truly did their best to make our stay comfortable. The dinner was excellent as well. I didn’t expect it to be a self-cooked grill, which turned out to be a really nice experience. The breakfast was also beautifully presented, like a piece of art. I loved it.

I booked a tent for four people with a dinner reservation on Booking. However, upon arrival at check-in, I was told that the booking was actually only for two people. I was then asked to pay for two additional beds (¥6,600) and dinner for two extra people (¥8,800), which didn’t feel like the most welcoming start to our stay. In the U.S., I would typically expect a situation like this to be resolved by covering the extra costs, given that it wasn’t clearly communicated in advance that the booking only included dinner for two. Here, they did waive the cost of the extra beds, though the additional dinners were still charged. I was too tired from the road to argue and agreed to the additional charges, but I recommend double-checking your booking details if you plan to stay here.
