Manor Farm

Das Haus bietet viel Platz und ist gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr abseits gelegen (hätte man leisere Nachbarn, wäre es schön ruhig). Der Kontakt zum Vermieter fand nur online statt, war aber stets freundlich.

Es war leider nicht wirklich sauber. Überquellende Müllbehälter stehen direkt vor der Unterkunft. Extrem schlechtes Wlan/Netzempfang. Die Betten waren sehr unbequem und mit Daunendecken/-kissen ausgestattet, die sehr gepiekt haben, so dass wir sie nicht nutzen konnten. Leider haben unsere Nachbarn sich nicht an die Ruhezeiten gehalten, so dass es wenig erholsam war und wir nach einer Nacht weitergezogen sind.

Spacious property. Breakfast options were provided but this was not mentioned in any of the communications so we had already bought provisions

Cobwebs were everywhere (and spiders) which did not give the impression of being clean. We spent about 40mins hoovering them up. I contacted the owner and she just thanked us for cleaning. As we were only staying one night, not good value for money in this regard. I would have expected a discount.

It was very spacious and an excellent location.

There was nothing I didn't like

Very quiet and relaxing. Lovely, good size barn accommodation for 2/4 guests. Well equipped, lovely shower, comfy bed. I would recommend it

Only 1 thing.... that is we booked bed & breakfast, always do, but this time we had to cook our breakfast and then the cleaning up, also went out and bought more food for breakfast it's not a major problem it's just we like to go away from doing what we do at home..

This was a nice comfortable cottage for a 2 night stay. It is well furnished and supplied with pretty much everything you need.

On our first night, the family across the road had kids (pre teens!) partying through to the small hours. The house itself is cleaned after each visitor - but don't look under the beds because you will see these places don't get visited by a passing vacuum cleaner.

My bed was very uncomfortable, and the late night gathering across the road was annoying, until very late!
