The apartment was spacious and clean and the facilities were very good. It is located in a quiet, safe, residential area, about 20 to 30 mins walk from the city centre. There are cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. There is a Lidl and also other supermarkets about 30 mins walk away. The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water in the bathroom. I enjoyed my stay there and can highly recommend it.

There were road works right at the front of the building, which was inconvenient. However, it was not very noisy, while I was there, so it did not bother me. There were no instruction notes in the apartment on how to operate the kitchen equipment, including the hob. Therefore I couldn't use most of them. Also, there were not enough kitchen utensils. There was, however, a microwave, which helped.

The apartment was very well equipped. The correspondence with the owner was the best we experienced. There were very clear check in instructions, including pictures. The city centre was just a 10 minute walk.

There was construction work going on in the street outside, but we had been warned about this before we arrived.

Le loft est vraiment sympa, pratique (avec l'équipement nécessaire), propre et surtout très bien placé

Very central location. Easy access to local cafes, bars and restaurants. Particularly liked the roof terrace to have coffee and watch birds in morning. The flat was spacious and clean, owners/manager very good at communicating that building works are going on outside. Didn't disturb me though and appreciate the honesty of letting guests know this prior to arrival.

Graffiti spoils some of the beautiful architecture in and around Heraklion. Some good, some not so good with political slogans etc.
