Nice and helpful host (we could leave our baggage earlier than check-in). Big apartament for two person. Located in the centre.

There is a musty smell in the apartment. Apartment is located in a side street which during the day serves as a garbage dump for nearby pubs and restaurants.

Great location

The host is well oragnised, helpful, and friendly. The place was clean, modern, and well equipped. The room is in a great location, walking distance everywhere. Conviently placed between the main shopping street and a square with plenty of bars and restaurants. Walking distance to the train station (with a monorail to the airport) and to the leaning tower area - both through nice streets full of shops. The appartment si quiet, despite being placed between a quite bussy square and a the main shopping street.

The appartment is on a ground floor level in a narrow ally, that serves for the back doors and gates from the surrounding business. The windows have curtains, so it is private, and they have bars so it is secure. But it is not the nicest looking ally in Pisa. Do not expect nice views from the appartment.

The location is perfect! You will be in the real center, a step away from a nice square with restaurants and bars and a step on the other side will lead you to the main street and the crowd. As the apartment is on a small inside street, you will still be able to enjoy quiet moments there. We did not use many utilities from the kitchen, but it looked complete with what you would need, even for a longer stay. The communication with our host was efficient, nice and welcoming person. I had to spend some time working from there and the internet connection was very good (which is not obligatory the case in similar locations). The street is very close to the river and because of that fact there is a specific smell that comes out of the canals. However, it appeared that even opening the windows for fresh air, it was OK and it did not come inside.

The bed was not the most comfortable one (but this is quite personal and subjective, so you might like it in fact). As this is a non - smoking property, if it rains outside it becomes challenging if you want to smoke, as there is no close shelter that you can use.

The apartment was beautiful, newly renovated and spotlessly clean. Salvatore was really easy to communicate with and met us at the exact time he said he would to show us into the apartment. 10 minute walk to the leaning tower of Pisa in one direction, and 10 mins to the train station in the other direction

Nothing

The three best things about the place are Location, Location, Location. You’re a few steps away from a fine dinner, a bakery, a grocery, the main street, and nightlife. Yet your room is on a quiet pedestrian only alley. You’ll hear birds in the morning and very little noise overnight. The apartment is very clean and looks recently upgraded. The hot water is hot, the fridge works, and the host is only a text away. If you’ve been to places that fail any of these, you’ll appreciate it.

If I have to find something, I will say the bed is softer than I usually have. To be fair, I sleep on a mattress at home that’s hard like concrete. You’d hate that, right? It’s all I can come up with for complaints. You’ll be fine.
