Traumhaft gelegen auf dem Berg mit Blick auf Cape Drastis und noch dazu mit Sonnenaufgang. Abends kann man wenige Meter davor auf der anderen Seite den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Absolute Stille - unbezahlbar. Das Appartement ist sehr modern ausgestattet und sehr sauber.

Der Dyson Cool sorgt nicht so richtig für Abkühlung in der Nacht.

The villa is located in the quiet and authentic village of Avliotes - a perfect place for a secluded and relaxing vacation. Within walking distance, you’ll find Ilia’s lovely taverna, a grocery shop, a coffee shop, and a pharmacy. The people in the neighborhood are incredibly sweet and welcoming, adding to the charm of the stay. The villa is about a 45–50 minute drive from the airport. It offers breathtaking panoramic views and has everything you need to feel comfortable during your stay. The host was always available and provided anything we needed promptly and kindly. The closest beach we liked the most was Agios Stefanos. There, we stayed on the beaches in front of the Mango or Aria guesthouses, which offer comfortable sunbeds and umbrella sets (10€). There are also other pebble and sandy beaches within a 15–20 minute drive, depending on your preferences and how much time you want to spend driving. The laundry room and dishwasher were particularly helpful, saving us time and energy throughout our vacation.

From a personal perspective, there are a few suggestions I’d kindly like to offer for future improvement: • Air Conditioning: The villa has a centralized cooling system, but during hotter days - and especially at night - it didn’t provide sufficient cooling. Even with the balcony doors and windows open, it was difficult to sleep, particularly with room temperatures staying above 27-28°C. Combined with a smaller-sized bed, it made restful nights challenging. While it’s not a major issue, finding a better cooling solution would significantly enhance comfort during hot weather. • Freezer: Having access to a freezer would be highly appreciated. Perhaps a shared freezer on the lower floor could be a simple and effective solution. • Cleaning: Cleaning was not provided during the stay, which I had assumed would be included at least once a week, based on past experiences. This wasn’t a big problem, but it would be helpful to clarify this in the house rules. The host was kind enough to lend us a vacuum cleaner, which we used toward the end of our stay to keep the floors clean. Offering a shared vacuum cleaner and an iron might also be a thoughtful addition for guests. I can’t help but mention our extremely noisy neighbors, who clearly didn’t care much about other guests’ privacy. Not only did they speak loudly — they were literally shouting at each other accompanied by music on a speaker out on the balcony :) Apparently, keeping quiet and respecting other vacationers’ rest isn’t obvious to everyone, so it might be a good idea to include this in the house rules.

Amazing view! We loved everything - the apartment, the villa and the staff, the town with the lovely locals and the beautiful nature!

This amazing house has an extra ordinary location for those who apprechiate quiet place, amazing view, suitainable thinkings and want to feel the spirit of real Greece. All the apartments have a big outside terasses and a complete piece, without any car sounds. We were in love with watercooling system that is an amazing air conditioning alternative - big plus for the owner thinking about the future possibilities of making tourismus more suitainable. The house has a washing/dry room with the high quality (and super clean) washing/drying opportunity. For the late summer or ealy spring birds there is a sauna with a sea view in the garden. Big big plus for a small herbs garden where you can serve yourself with finding a final touch for your self-made greek delicious. :) The Owner was avaiable for urgent question and prepared to help if needed. we already looking forward for our next visit at Villa Ocean Breeze.

Its not a negative point but just an understanding information for all travellers: Corfu is known for a small but strong storms so we had a privilege to be part of one that nature was thankful for. Due to a lighting struck there was a whole city without the electricity for few hours. So take a small candle or a power bank with you if you urgently need a power for your smart phone. The owner gave us all necessary information that he got from the goverment and was avaiable for any urgent cases if needed.

The place is magic. On a hill above the sea (no ocean nearby), amazing view, calm. The renovation is recent and some equipments are really appreciable and rare (like dishwasher). Sandra is looking after everything we needed, she is very kind and welcome.

Actually basic services were not functioning and it created a lot of frustration. The cooling system was not working 80% of the time, this was particularly heavy the first week, because window nets against flies were progressively installed during our stay. The cooling system was not delivering the service but the noise was there. Unable to have a quiet night for the first two consecutive days. The furniture (wardrobe) was not assembled correctly and the drawers were simply decomposed. Only 4 shirt holders for wardrobe that has 2 meters rod. Difficult to organize the clothes and stuff when you have a long stay as we did. The kitchen storage is also very limited. The sofa bed is very hard, I had to add additional camping mattress in order to use it. On top of these problems, I had some messages from the owners that I considered aggressive and inappropriate : proposal to cancel my reservation, request do not use the laundry facility while it is in the set of equipments and I reserved for one month. Obviously it is difficult do not wash clothes for a month. I saw that they do efforts to improve and I appreciate, but it is really urgent to align the service to the prices. I paid too much for what I got simply because a lot of things were not functioning.

Yet you need to be aware of a few things for this little gem: The "passive" climate control of the apartment. It is not the classic air conditioner where you can cool down the apartment with a press of a button. For our week in the apartment the temperature inside stayed constantly between 26 - 27 °C, which, partially you can get used to, but it just isnt for a real good night sleep. The nights would have been more comfortable sleeping outside. For enjoying the mornings / breakfast on the balcony, a parasol would have been needed. Despite the apartment being top notch, not all apliances are quite that user friendly - different buttons for turning on and off the light can be annoying, barely any storage locations. As the door has no exterior handle, with the smart door key you have to always press twice, first close the lock, then open it again, takes about 20 seconds. And road conditions / getting to the apartment can be an adventure compared to your regular vacation destinations. But that applies in general on the island. Be aware of it when you plan to rent a car, you are better off with a small car, yet it might not be powerfull enough to climb all the roads you meet there.
