Ely Stays Flat 1 Stylish City Centre Apartment

Everything was excellent and we apologise for being so stupid over not understanding how to work the door hand lock. We had never come across anything like it before & got confused & worried, & the owner had to come & show us how it worked. Maybe try & simplify the instructions & definitely tell people to ignore the safe key box on the wall.

Would really have liked to have had old fashioned keys.

The flat was close to the centre of Ely and easy to access. The flat was clean, a few cobwebs here and there but overall it was fine.

For myself, the matress on the bed was far too soft and I had to sleep on the floor. My partner was able to sleep on the bed, but also thought it was too soft.

When the bathroom is next upgraded (it's a little 'tired') it would be helpful to less physically able customers to have much less of a step up into the shower or at least a handrail on the adjacent wall.

It is very central but very quiet too. It was clean and we particularly liked the electronic entry pads… key locks are usually hard to open but this updated version is far better!

It was let down a bit by the bathroom, which is looking very tired and in need of a re-fit; and the towels were not very appealing either.

Location was good

Shower was poor - unclean, poor water pressure and just not good. The whole bathroom needs to be updated - taps and fixtures old and unclean. Sofas were very uncomfortable. Unable to use lamp one one side of bed as no plug socket or extension lead to the lamp. Noisy people upstairs walking and jumping about constantly during day and evening Parking was very difficult to manage due to restrictions of car parks

Shower was very old and wor , water from immersion heater only lukewarm, shower drain blocked so water took a long time to drain away. Windows in flat open from the bottom so not safe to have windows open at night.

Great spot for Ely, quiet good bed, parking round the corner, well equipped kitchen, clean.
