The Rockwall Boutique Hotel Bentota

Lovely hotel with a gorgeous pool. The rooms are really big and have an amazing view. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

It’s a bit out of the way and because it was out of season it felt a bit too quiet. I imagine in high season that is a bonus. They struggled to cater for a vegetarian breakfast.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It surpassed my expectations. But the service was not that great, it was okay. The breakfast was average, regular toast, eggs and fruits. There is no breakfast spread. I loved the pool and its location, it deserves a 10. On the first night of our stay we stepped out for dinner and when we came back, the reception area was totally dark, that was unexpected for a hotel !

The rooms had ants, we had to specifically tell them to get the rooms cleaned out. We had booked 2 rooms but were not given rooms on the same floor although the hotel was almost nearly empty. The breakfast could definitely have been better. Also the service.

Fantastic beach view and attentive, friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented.

The hotel was fabulous and only steps to the most beautiful beach. We had a wonderful stay surrounded by lovely staff who were exceptional and so nice. Our sun loungers awaited us every morning thanks to the lovely pool & grounds staff. We had dinner most nights at the hotel and a shout out to the chef and the kitchen staff it was delicious food. The bar was a lovely place to unwind after a tough day lounging in the sun. ☀️ If you want to venture outside the hotel, the town centre is just a short Tuk Tuk drive away and there are always drivers available outside the hotel. We stayed 8 nights and loved every day. It’s a small hotel so the staff are keen to ensure you have a great stay, and that’s what makes this hotel special. It’s hard to mention anyone in particular they were all amazing.
