The Rockwall Boutique Hotel Bentota

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! It felt like a little slice of paradise. The food was amazing - big shoutout to the chef for the best meals we've had in a while. The beach and hotel were super clean, and we loved chilling on our balcony with that breathtaking sea view. The staff were all great, making our stay even better. They even upgraded our room for free, which was a nice surprise! Thank you!

Just one small thing - it would be nice if the pool in the room was heated. It was too chilly without the sun warming it up.

Fantastic location right on the beach. Rooms very spacious. Staff were amazing right from the general Manager. They were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Need fans over restaurant area and rail to enter pool.

We loved the beach location, close to the turtle sanctuary, and the pool with a large area with plenty of sunbeds. There was AC good variety in the buffet including vegetarian options. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly in particular Pradash and the pool guy/gardener. The beach is stunning but quiet - we enjoyed walking along it. The waves were large while we stayed there but we did spot dolphins out to sea. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

The road outside was quite busy but we did walk along it to the turtle sanctuary.

Location was excellent, very polite and attentive staff, any req were met inc adjoining rooms, breakfast etc. Delighted with stay, hope to visit on my next holiday

It is calm and cozy hotel.

- Hotel infrastructure is new and very carefully and lovingly maintained - The staff is exceptionally friendly, attentive and caring. It feels like home - Restaurant offers a wide variety of cuisine, whenever buffet is offered, with ample vegetarian options. - Rooms are massive with beautifully interiors, and balcony facing the Indian Ocean. NOTE: you are very close to the sea. If you have problems with the sound of waves, you will have to shut the balcony door at night

The stay was a real delight - the location right on the water with the sea not more than 200 m from the balcony - the staff was wonderful - all of them, particularly the GM, sulo - the mood was right and while the band for NYE wasn't great, we had a wonderful time with everybody dancing and running off to the beach at midnight - staff was very helpful with tips of where (outside the hotel) to go for meals

food was good and only occasionally great

Amazing staff who were so attentive, they couldn’t have been better at looking after us! The hotel opens out straight onto the beach, which is totally deserted so you have it to yourself. Absolutely stunning views, we didn’t want to leave!

We did get put in the wrong room initially, but were moved as soon as we asked. The food was ok but not the best, we would have liked a few more options for meals - health food and salads.

Indoor pool in the room is not heated . It is colder than the outdoor pool , hence could not use it ! Restaurant didn't have much options in buffet .
