Dee Lodge

The lodge was spacious, well equipped and cosy. It was perfect for our two wee boys and us. Ideally located in Boat of Garten.

A beautiful static caravan, spotlessly clean. Very quiet caravan park but within five minutes drive to busy aviemore. Great pump track & bike routes.

Overall good. No issues with anything. Had a pleasant stay. Had an issue with heating. Raised it to host using booking.com messaging. Response was prompt and it got resolved.

It was a good hopping point for lots of really good tourist attractions and nature walks.The space was modernly furnished with tasteful decoration , crockery and utensils.It was clean and well stocked.

The mattress topper was too large for the bed making it uncomfortable. Shower door knobs need attention as do the sliding doors to the decking which were very difficult to lock and open. The doors for the small ensuite were also tricky. The view advertised wâs not accurate as this caravan looked directly onto other caravans.

Dee Lodge exceeded our expectations. The location was great, the peace and quiet in the area that I was so much longing for, and the comfort of having a fully equipped lodge to rest after winter sports. We couldn’t have had a better start to the year. I was a bit nervous about the bed, since people complained it was too soft, I’m very light sleeper and I’m sensitive to changes in my bed routine. The bed was indeed soft when I sat on it, but to my surprise, it was extremely comfortable to sleep on, more than my own bed! We will definitely come back.

It was a bit difficult to find at night. The address didn’t show correctly on Google, and we struggled to find the lodge once on site. We also weren’t sure where to dispose our garbage, we missed this info in the welcome booklet. Neither change the fact that the experience was outstanding.
