MK Hostel

MK Hostel is alright for someone on a budget. Too bad a snoring roommate forced me to have to look for another place so I could recover some sleep after 2 nights.

Cheap place with all the essentials

Sink is outside on the street, which makes it a bit intimidating to use. Also not really a common area to hang out apart from the reception where staff will keep trying to sell you tours.

So cheap and rooms were clean.

You get what you pay for! No privacy on bunks though.

Great location and cheap as chips but horrendous otherwise. No security, toilet and shower area was as bad as it gets but if you're on a tight budget it might do.

Located nearby the night market and temples.

1. I got a dirty bed with bugs and dirts, made my body slightly itchy. 2. Washbasin is located outdoor at the side of the road, weird. 3. No toilet or bathroom upstairs, have to go down every time. 4. There is a food stall at night until midnight, so depends on luck they might be noisy. During my stay the aunties were chatting and shouting and laughing loudly until 1am which were extremely annoying and noisy. 5. Probably a school is next to it, so it would be noisy during the day, school kids noises and ringing bells. 6. One can see into the bathroom next door through the reflection on the floor. 7. Not all bathrooms have heater. 8. No curtain for beds.

Excellent location, cold water available all day, staff are ok.

Very basic overall, poor hygiene, no bed curtains and the sinks are outside so you brush your teeth in public shame.

Location: This place is well located walking distance to almost everything. Temples and supermarkets etc. Staff: The owner is nice and friendly. The cleaner too. Bathroom: Shower temperature comes out very hot sometimes a bit cold. Floor often wet, drainage issue perhaps. Room: The bedding are clean👌 The door is very noisy needs fixing and the main outlet for lights is located in the room.It would be great if the label the switch so guest will not switch on/off anything. Overall, it was a good stay.

Great location, very cheap, quiet hostel. Not a lot going on, but great to get a good night sleep.

Didn’t have any character, no common area.
